If you've tried to find an occupational therapist in Illinois recently, you know the challenge: waitlists that stretch six months or more, providers who don't take insurance, or specialists who are geographically too far to be practical.

Virtual occupational therapy is changing this landscape.

Who can access virtual OT in Illinois?

Any Illinois resident can access virtual OT services from licensed Illinois occupational therapists — including those practicing in Chicago, the suburbs, and rural communities where in-person OT is scarce or nonexistent.

At Ocean Tide Therapy, we are licensed in Illinois and serve clients across the state — from Chicago and the Chicagoland suburbs to downstate communities.

What conditions are well-suited to telehealth OT in Illinois?
